Our  Mission

  Our mission is to raise healthy hardy animals at a reasonable price on a consistent and reliable basis.

  Too often animals today are bred strictly for what people see as desirable characteristics. Although this plays a big part in our breeding as well, we only breed to the healthiest and hardiest stock.

  All others are culled at the sale barn regardless of of how  appealing their physical characteristics might be.

Who We Are

  Dan & Marcia

When we met in 2007 neither of us knew what a whirlwind life would be in the coming years. Marcia, a native Alaskan was born and raised in Alaska. Dan born in California moved to Alaska in 1994. 13 years later fate would bring us together and we set upon a course that alone we could have never imagined.

  Although we both loved Alaska we decided it was time for a change, so literally with a map and the throw of a dart we were on our way to Oklahoma.

  A short time after arriving in Oklahoma we bought a ranch in beautiful S.E. Oklahoma and the Double C was born.

  With a love of the outdoors and animals, ranching was a natural fit. 

Jessie

Although up until the move Jessie spent his entire young life in Alaska he has always had a country boy’s heart and fell right into country life without missing a beat.

 Jessie is an avid hunter and fisherman. He took his first black bear when he was only eight and has taken numerous animals with his bow including bears, deer and moose. Jessie a junior this year and attends classes at Kiamichi School of Technology every morning before going on to school.  Jessie spends his summers in Alaska commercial fishing for salmon.

Deanna

  Deanna is the youngest of the Double C crew. Born and raised in Alaska, Oklahoma and the ranch life has been a big change for her. Despite the changes, with Deanna’s classic go with the flow, easygoing attitude she has adapted well.

  With school, friends, FFA, Drama, tutoring, her love of books and chores around the ranch she stays busy. Deanna is a wonderful young lady with a heart of pure gold.
